‘It is extremely hard to suggest the atmospheric qualities of Las Vegas, because these are primarily dependant on watts.’ (Venturi, R. Brown, D. Izenour S. 1977).
This short film explores the Las Vegas Strip at night through a tracking shot that is briefly interrupted by a slowed forward shot in order to provide the viewer with a sense of depth. The film explores how artificial light captures the glamour and utilitarian nature of the strip creating an atmosphere of both excitement and eeriness.
